Sculptural Paintings
These Sculptural Paintings are an investigation into the potential for paintings to be viewed as objects, where the paint is experienced in a series of moments rather than simultaneously as in tranditional flat 2-d paintings.
High gloss paints are applied to flat sheets of steel, which is then bent during the drying process.
Some of the sculptures are floor-based and others can be hung on the wall. All of them require the viewer to walk around them to fully experience them.
